Day 10 → A photo of you taken over ten years ago

I'm the goofy kid on the right. My mom loved dressing Katie and I in matching clothes. I'm pretty sure I still eat oranges like that.

Day 09 → A photo you took

This is a Raspberry Tart from Wildewood Pastry Shop in my town. It's probably my most favorite dessert ever. And isn't it pretty??

Day 06 → Whatever tickles your fancy

Man, now that I've been given a post to write about whatever I'd like in, I have no idea what to say.

So here you go! My favorite YouTube videos of this week:

[He makes even better faces than ME!]

[This is my friend, Claire. We went to highschool together and she's basically what I want to be when I grow up. She writes most of the songs she does, and does "Thesaurus Covers" which I totally would steal if I could come up with anything brilliant like she does.]

[And basically, I just really love these - they "riff" movies by making fun of them. Watch the Twilight one, HILARIOUS.]

Day 05 → Your favorite quote

"Even after all this time,
the sun never says to the earth,
'You owe me.'
Look what happens with a love like that.
It lights the whole sky."

Day 04 → Your favorite book

I love a lot of books. The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst is definitely in the top 5. Along with a bunch of Shel Silverstein books.

And The Chronicles of Narnia (the whole series) by C.S. Lewis. And The Little Prince!

Day 03 → Your favorite television program

I don't watch TV as much as I used to. In fact, the only thing I watch semi-regularly is Jeopardy, which is on every night at 7pm and 7:30pm. I watch it with my parents, which is always fun, because we yell out all the answers* and mentally calculate points (though not too accurately).

I catch Glee on Hulu every week, but I wouldn't be able to keep track of it if it weren't available online.

And though I'm seasons behind, I still love The Office, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, and One Tree Hill.

Actually, I think I'll go off and watch this past week's episode of Glee now!

*However, we have house-rules like, "You can't answer until the Alex Trebek has finished reading the ENTIRE question" which my mom sucks at following.

OMEGIGGLE.

Okay, so I've started harassing strangers on Omegle and it's really entertaining.

If you aren't familiar with the site, it's this giant chat-search-engine thing that matches you up with another person whenever you want. There are almost always thousands of people available and you have no means of choosing someone or knowing anything about them except what information they supply to you.

Sometimes I'm completely honest about things and sometimes I lie so well that I'm not sure where any of it comes from. Here are screenshots of some of the more interesting ones.

Before we start, though, you have to promise not to judge me as I say some pretty ridiculous things to entertain myself. I've sort of made this into a competition of how much dumb shit I can say before the other person disconnects. Occasionally, I'll be matched up with somebody that I actually ENJOY talking to (like this guy Ben yesterday. We had a nice chat about how The Chronicles of Narnia are awesomer than Harry Potter or Twilight). Also, I apologize if I've run into any of you on there unknowingly and have been an ass, haha.

To clarify, I am "You" and "Stranger" is, well, self-explanatory.

On to the ridiculosity! )
